Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pitchdar ("Pitchdar", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at www.pitchdar.com and the Pitchdar application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account & workspace data. Your name, email address, workspace name, password (stored only as a salted hash), and team-member details you add.
  • Prospect & CRM data. Business records you search for, import, enrich, score, and the notes, statuses, emails, territories, and routes you create.
  • Payment data. When you start a trial or subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — Stripe handles them and shares limited information (such as billing status and a customer identifier) with us.
  • Usage & device data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken, used for security, rate-limiting, and improving the Service.
  • Cookies. A single essential cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To power product features — including AI analysis of reviews and AI-generated outreach drafts.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To respond to your support requests and send service notices.

3. Service providers we share data with

We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service. Each handles data under its own terms and privacy policy:

  • Stripe — payment processing and billing.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI features (review analysis, email drafting, assistant). Inputs are sent to generate responses.
  • Google Maps / Places & OpenStreetMap — business search and geocoding.
  • Resend — transactional and outbound email delivery.
  • Vercel, Turso & Cloudflare — hosting, database, and network infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

4. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your workspace and associated data at any time (see "Your rights"). We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, signed webhooks, access controls, and rate-limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@pitchdar.com. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process any third-party business contact data you store in the Service.

7. International transfers

The Service and our providers may process and store data in countries other than yours. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
